Semantics, Knowledge and Grids on Big Data in 2017

(SKG 2017, August 14-15, 2017, Beijing, China)

Any question please contact kg@ict.ac.cn

The International Conference on Semantics, Knowledge and Grids is a cross-area international forum on semantic computing, knowledge networking, and advanced computing architectures (Grid, Cloud, Web X.0, CPS, Internet of Things, etc.).

The mission of SKG is to promote cross-area research and accelerate the development of relevant areas.

SKG has built its reputation through twelve-year's professional organization. The conference invites well-known experts in diverse areas to present keynotes every year. Submissions come from all over the world. In addition to regular papers, the conference will also accept short papers reporting latest research progress or applications.

Semantics, knowledge and Grids represent three streams of understanding humans and the world that humans interact and create. Relevant research concerns all areas of computing, especially web semantics, artificial intelligence, advanced computing infrastructures, and new challenges and technologies (e.g., big data).

We are very honored to announce that the following keynote speakers will bring us exciting insights into several research areas at SKG 2017.

Keynotes (in order of confirmation):
  • -- Geoffrey Fox, ACM Fellow, Indiana University, USA

  • -- Jiming Liu, IEEE Fellow, Hong Kong Baptist University, Hong Kong, China

  • -- Marian Bubak, AGH University of Science and Technology in Poland & University of Amsterdam in The Netherlands

  • -- Xizhao Wang, IEEE Fellow, Shenzhen University, China

  • More to be announced.

We welcome submissions of high quality papers on topics in the general areas of semantic computing, knowledge management, information retrieval, and scalable distributed computing. Inter-disciplinary papers across these areas are of special interest.

Accepted papers including workshop papers, will also be published in the SKG proceedings, together with the main SKG 2017 proceedings. The proceedings will be published by the Conference Publishing Services. Previous proceedings have been indexed in DBLP, IEEE eXplore and in EI Compendex . The conference also will recommend selected papers to SCI-indexed international journals after conference.
